Frequently Asked Questions & Troubleshooting Guide

Warranted against manufacturing defects for 1 year. Warranty does not cover misuse of products. Please see the below PDF instruction guide for tips on how to properly use your stand. Please contact us with any questions.

If you decide you do not want the item you ordered we will issue a refund for the amount of the item upon return of the item. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the receiver. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

These stands are designed to be easily installed with minimal AV knowledge. However, if you are local to our facility (Connecticut area) we do offer installation service for a small fee.

We are always available via phone/video calls to assist with installation or repairs at no extra charge.

Yes, you can change which type of controller you use for your stand. The standard mic stand can be interchangeably powered by the RF wireless, Bluetooth wireless (discontinued) or wired controllers. These are sold separately and are available in our store.

Yes, all components should appear in the Accessories portion of the Store. If you do not see what you are looking for please send us an email. Click the link below for instructions on how to program extra FOB remotes.

The stands are designed to be easily repaired on site. We have videos below that will walk you through the most common repairs. Our store has components available in stock for easy replacement. If for some reason you cannot service the stand yourself on site, the stand can be sent back to our facility for servicing. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the consumer.

Bluetooth: Class 2 (For Smartphones) has range of 33feet or 10meters depending on obstructions between the Smartphone and the receiver. Only 1 Bluetooth device can be synced at a time. This type of controller has been discontinued but support will continue for this item. If you have a bluetooth controller and would like to upgrade to the RF style, it is available in our store.

RF has a standard range of approx. 100-150ft or 30-50meters depending on obstructions between the FOB and receiver. The RF uses a dedicated FOB with the up down buttons.

Yes and No…multiple RF stands can be setup on the same stage. However, they cannot be used simultaneously. A short pause is needed when trying to actuate more than one RF system. If you need to simultaneously actuate more than one stand, we recommend using a wired system.

Yes, the stand will move vertically both Manually and Powered.

Minimum stand height is 38 inches + 12 inches Manual control and 12 inches Powered. Total range 38 inches to 62 inches. It is recommended to manually set the stand to your aprox shortest speaker.

Yes, we now offer a rechargeable battery pack (6000mAh Lithium ion) that will make your stand completely wireless. If used as instructed the battery will operate over 1,500 cycles before needing to be recharged. Soon, we will also be offering a new portable style stand, that features a minimalist design. Inquire via email if you are interested.

Over time the switch on the controllers can wear. This will result in one or both directions to stop working. We offer replacement switches or a full replacement controller.

The main screw drive and the motor gears should have a basic/multi-purpose grease applied such as Synthetic “Super Lube” or “White Lithium Grease” found at any Hardware supply store.

If this happens, something may be wrong with your flexible coupling. Over time if the stand is repeatedly run past its limit on either end, the inner flexible coupling can become damaged or can pop off the inner drive screw. See video below for instructions on how to remove the inner workings to see if this is the issue. Styles may vary from what the video shows, but the basic idea is the same. Replacement couplings are available in our store. Feel free to reach out if you need any assistance with this.

This can happen for a few reasons:

  1. Check your guide pin. This is the white pin that is visible on the main tube.  Over time this pin can break or become worn. Use the attached screws to tighten the pin. Replacements are available in our store. *Please note that new models have a black pin that is self-adjusting, no adjustments should be needed on this type. Contact us if you need clarification.
  2. There is a set screw (ball plunger) at the top of your stand that is set during production to the proper tightness. If for some reason this is overtightened it can cause undue pressure on the motor and cause noise or if it is loosened too much it can cause a wobble. If this seems to be the issue you can adjust as follows: 1) Gently turn plunger clockwise until just seated.  2) Back plunger out 1/4 turn counterclockwise. (this is to avoid overtightening). If your motor seems like it is struggling, you may have over tightened this screw.
